About us

our company

While the AgCentric name may be new, its tradition of Sioux City based farm management service dates back to 1875 when it all began as the Gillman Agency.  The Gillman Agency was later acquired by Hatfield Farm Management Company. Hatfield Farm Management Company continued into 2000 under the ownership of T. Wayne Tilton. At that time, Dick Coffman was working for Hatfield Farm Management Company and operating his own farm management and appraisal company. On November 1, 2000, Dick Coffman purchased Hatfield Farm Management Company and Coffman Farm Agency continued operations through 2021.

AgCentric Farm Agency, LLC first began in March of 2021 when it was formed by Jason Woods and Mike Koopmans to carry forward the continuity of agricultural service from Coffman Farm Agency. In January of 2022, AgCentric formally took over the business operation as it exists today.

We are a multigenerational business that serves new and multigenerational clients alike. If you are an existing AgCentric client, we thank you for your business and we are humbled by the trust you have placed in us to care for your farm operation. If you are a new or prospective client we are excited for the opportunity to help you reach your goals and exceed your expectations.
